VP-280 GAL Issue - Crashes Reply

 Hi

I am trying to program a Lattice GAL16V8 or a GAL16V8A chip with my VP-280 on software version 4.3.4. When I hit Program it gets 10% into the programming and then the application and the burner crash. I have to manually kill the program process and reboot the burner. I used to be able to burn PALs using an earlier version of the program but I think the latest has a bug.

Can you confirm, and let me know where I could get an older version of the burner application from?

 I have found and tried earlier software versions but still the same problem. I have also tried to upgrade the firmware using JP1 but it reloads with the original firmware (v12.0). Is that the last firmware there was for the VP280?
