Hi, I have the VP-290 and I"m trying to work with an old device that has the Microchip 28C64A-15/L chip installed. I know these chips are very old but I would like to try and use it. Is it possible for you to make a device for this that can use your WL-PL32-U001 adaptor? I know ATMEL sells a compatible EEPROM (AT28C64B) but you also do not have a device defined that uses PLCC packaging. Cheers George I think I just answered my own question, I hope :) I just ordered a PLCC32-DIP28 Adapter, I will give this a try and let you know. Please feel free to comment if you know this will not work. The datasheet for this chip shows that the pins are not directly 1 to 1 mapped between the DIP/SOIC to the PLCC version. I made-up a pin mapping between the 28 PIN and the 32 PIN PLCC using hookup wires and connected this to the VP-290 and now I can read and write the EEPROM. [ The message is modified by GGaulin ]
